Refund Policy
The Sky Heist is not a product. It is a ritual a million people choose to be present in, together. The $1 you pay is the token of that choice. It is not a fee for content, software, or a deliverable.
For that reason, entry payments are non-refundable.
The narrow exceptions
We will refund your entry, no questions asked, in the following situations:
- Duplicate charge. If you were billed more than once for the same entry, we will refund the duplicate.
- Technical failure to deliver. If a fault on our side prevents you from ever accessing the Service after payment (for example, the verification flow fails and we cannot grant entry within a reasonable time), we will refund.
- Unauthorised charge. If you can show the payment was made without your consent (e.g. stolen card), we will refund and cooperate with your bank's investigation.
To request a refund under any of these conditions, email [email protected] with the email address used at checkout, the date of the charge, and a brief description of the situation. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
What we don't refund
- "I changed my mind" — the entry is intentionally final to make the commitment real.
- "I never reached one million" — the Lock event happens only if and when a million participants are simultaneously present. We don't guarantee that threshold will be reached in any timeframe, and your $1 buys participation in the attempt, not a guaranteed outcome.
- "I missed the Lock" — the 11-minute event is intentionally ephemeral. We don't record it and we cannot replay it for you. Being present for it is the entire experience.
Chargebacks
If you have a dispute, please contact us at [email protected] first. We respond quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us makes resolution slower and may result in your access being revoked.
